The 55th Annual Bluemont Fair will take place on September 20th & 21st, 2025 10 AM – 5 PM. The Bluemont Fair is a beloved two-day, village-wide country fair, attracting between 7,000 and 10,000 visitors.
The Bluemont Fair receives wide promotion across local, county, state, and regional channels, including community signboards, posters, our website, social media platforms, newspapers, local libraries, community centers, nearby retail stores and malls, tourism brochures, and the Virginia Artisan Trail Network.
We welcome all kinds of bakers and baked goods—whether you’re a hobbyist or a pro, from whole pies to individual cookies to loaves of bread, or anything else you specialize in, your baked goods are welcome at the Bluemont Fair.

Fees
Application Fee Options
You’ll select one of these options when you submit your application:
- $10.00 Non-refundable fee which includes a free pass to enter the Fair.
- Fee is waived if you sign up for a 2-3 hour volunteer shift selling baked goods during the Fair weekend. This option includes a free Fair admission pass for the day you volunteer and a coupon for discounted Fair merchandise. These are coveted volunteer positions because they are in an air-conditioned building.
Sales Payout
Bakers keep 80% of their sales, while the Bluemont Fair retains 20%.
Drop-Off Times
Saturday, September 20, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Sunday, September 21, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Drop off at the E.E. Lake Store, 18351 Railroad Street, Bluemont, VA 20135. Please plan enough time to check in your items and arrange them on the counter.
Inventory Control
- Your vendor number will be assigned and sent to you by the end of August.
- Every item you sell must have tags or labels listing all ingredients, your vendor number, and the price.
- When you drop off your items, you must bring an itemized list that includes your vendor number and a detailed description of all goods (for example: 16 packets of 6 chocolate fudge candies – $6 each; 10 crispy rice treats – $2 each).
- If you opt-in on the application, you will receive a photo text message showing your inventory at or near Fair close on Saturday evening to assist you with restocking on Sunday morning.
- We cannot discount baked goods as the Fair weekend progresses due to accounting limitations. Please keep this in mind when pricing your items. Our goal is to ensure you make enough profit to make baking for the Fair worthwhile, and items priced to sell typically do well.
- Unsold items may be picked up at the close of the Fair on Sunday between 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Any items not picked up by 5:30 PM will be donated unless you have made prior arrangements with the Fair Chair.
