2021 Juried Crafters Winner
Organizers of the Bluemont Fair are pleased to announce the selection of Rock Fusion Studio as Juried Crafts Winner of the 51st Annual Bluemont Fair. The prize for winning Juried Crafts is complimentary display space at the 52nd Annual Bluemont Fair, to be held September 17 & 18, 2022, a very large blue ribbon, and, of course, bragging rights!
Rock Fusion Studio, located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, is owned and operated by artists Tatyana and Evgeny Zidarov. They create art, home décor, jewelry, and tableware. According to Tatyana, “Our work is inspired by the beautiful scenery and nature all around us. We love creating unique gifts and items that make people happy. I have been painting and hand building pottery for several years, but it wasn’t until I started taking glass fusing classes when I fell in love. I am completely addicted to creating fused glass items and coming up with new things to make. My husband has been taking lapidary classes and works with stones, rocks, and minerals to bring out their beauty. The Zidarov’s Rock Fusion Studio, and the work many other fine artisans, will be on display and available for purchase during the 52nd Annual Bluemont Fair. Some of the artisans demonstrate the process of creating their craft, which provides a fascinating learning experience, as well.
